Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey Intense

Designed in 2007, this woody fragrance for men has been at the top of nearly every list of every critic. An intense mix to the monument that is L'eau d'Issey Pour Homme, both the inherited bones and the note profile promise excellence. Top notes are yuzu, bergamot, sweet orange and mandarin orange. The middle notes are nutmeg, lotus, cinnamon, cardamom and saffron. Its base notes are incense, papyrus, ambergris, benzoin and amber. This was no fool upstart messing with a successful formula, either, but Jacques Cavallier himself, the man who made both the men's and women's original Issey Miyakes. If you like L'eau d'Issey at all, you will enjoy this one.
