Mon Paris Couture was released in 2018 as a flanker to the original Mon Paris. It moves to capture the fashion side of the City of Love. It's lighter and more crisp than the original, with top notes including grapefruit and litchi, while raspberry, bergamot and mandarin are preserved from the original. The heart is lighter and simpler, switching the jasmine from Mon Paris for rose, while keeping the peony, datura and orange blossom. The base also marks a contrast; with only musk, patchouli and cashmeran, it's much softer - no vanilla, oakmoss or sandalwood. Paris is famous for its couturiers, and Saint Laurent strikes again with its crack perfumers' ability to bottle an idea.
YSL Mon Paris Floral Born in 2009, this floral fruity perfume for ladies is as intriguing and feminine as it is complex and daring. The note arrangement is one to be amazed over. Peach and Citruses sit atop. In the middle, notes of Peony, White Rose, Datura, Orange Blossom, Magnolia and Jasmine Sambac surprise and impress. The anchor/base notes are Musk, Cashmere Wood and Patchouli. This is a beautiful fragrance that has a summertime feel to it but smells great in colder seasons also. It is as youthful and playful as the YSL brand intended it to be.
