Born at the turn of the millennium, this is an amber woody fragrance for men. The design house of Givenchy has done it again, crafting a deeply complex cologne out of the bizarre infinity that is pi. Something so simple resulting in such unfathomable boundlessness echoes in the deceptively simple notes of this eau de toilette: the top notes are mandarin orange, tarragon, rosemary and basil; middle notes are anise, neroli, geranium and lily-of-the-valley. The perfectly square base is vanilla, almond, tonka bean, benzoin and cedar. The unfinished pyramid with the moveable semicircle at the top calls to mysterious forces, which indeed seem to flow through this scent in a way never bottled elsewise.
