Liz Claiborne Sport for men was released in 1997 and still holds its own as a light and soft clean fragrance. Like many in Claiborne's line, it captures the same feeling of many colognes of its time without the associated head-bashing from their ridiculous power. Top notes are lavender and tomato leaf, that same unique cologne ingredient that gives Joop's What About Adam and Lacoste's Essential their distinctive smell. Ginger, sage, woods, coriander, cyclamen and cardamom are the darker and spicier heart, with musk, amber and cedar the base. It's a dark but soft, spicy but clean scent that has aged very well.
