Thierry Mugler Alien

Alien is the long-awaiting counterpart to Angel, the classic scent by Mugler. Though the names are similar, the scent - in true Mugler style - is totally its own. While Angel is earthy and dark, Alien is light and soft, and just about as simple a perfume as ever has been made; and yet, it's incredibly distinctive and uncopiable. The perfume opens with soft jasmine notes, supported by a woody mix at the heart. Amber fills in the base, with the end effect of a soft, smooth floral that has as impressive a skin duration as Angel. The bottle is also a brilliant showpiece for any collector's shelf.

This is an amber woody fragrance for ladies that was released back in 2005. But do not let its age get you down. It does its job well today as it did all those years ago. It is very impressive and intriguing in its simplicity. Most perfumes attempt to stuff in as many notes as possibly. Here, nothing is crammed or jammed. At the top, there is simply Jasmine. At the heart, we find just woodsy notes. As an anchor, amber can be found. Simple. Feminine. Luxurious.
