Kouros is a singular cologne, Yves Saint Laurent's 80s masterpiece for men. An aromatic fougere, top notes include artemesia, sage, coriander and bergamot. The heart is a dark floral one, with carnation, patchouli, gernaium, cinnamon, jasmine and vetiver. The base is where the most unusual notes come into play: faux civet, oakmoss, leather, vanilla, amber and honey. The civet musk gives the cologne a sexy, animalic scent, making the wearer irresistible. Forty years on, Kouros holds it own like few colognes do.
